My efforts really paid off. The more you do, the more you grow and the more you are appreciated Shogoro Suetsugu, Manager, Machida Shoten (new graduate, joined in 2022)
A place of growth found in the gift - two years of hard work pays off.
I thought, "I can make the most of myself and grow here," as I met and talked with Gift. Originally, I was aiming to work in a completely different industry, such as the construction industry. However, I felt that at Gift, I would be able to expand my field of activity.
After actually joining the company, this desire became a reality. I became a store manager within two years of joining the company. As far as my friends from school, I have never heard of anyone changing their position within two years, so I feel that Gift is a company that truly rewards hard work.
Challenges of a manager who grows with responsibility
Store managers have a strong sense of responsibility and have to train people, which can be difficult. However, the people who work at Gift are highly motivated to grow, and as long as I communicate clearly with them, they always grow and change, which is very rewarding. Now, I feel that my subordinates' growth is my own sheer joy. Although it is difficult to communicate, I feel that I am also growing while helping my subordinates grow, so even the obstacles I encounter are enjoyable.
I would like to continue to grow and aim to become a block manager next. I believe that if I grow, I will be able to help more people grow. As people grow, the company grows, and as this image spreads, more people will want to work at Gift, which will in turn lead to the growth of Gift.
Gift is a workplace full of challenging and ambitious people.
We invite you to put your experience and skills in the food and beverage industry to good use at Gift.
