When it comes to gifts, it's philosophy-based management. Continuing to Grow with Philosophy at the Core Masaki Miura, Sales Manager, Toyama
Reasons for deciding to join the company
I have been involved in the restaurant industry since I was in my twenties, and I think I know the ins and outs of the restaurant business. When I changed jobs, I asked questions that the interviewers had trouble replying to about specific ways of working. Among them, only Gift was able to clearly answer the questions about what they are doing now and what they plan to improve in the future. I was intrigued by their open and honest attitude and decided to join the company.
Gift Challenges Achieved through Philosophy and Teamwork
Originally, I was considering going independent, but that changed while working there. Gift has a high perspective, even to the cast members, and takes action to achieve its philosophy. In this process, I felt joy and pleasure in the sense of accomplishment of achieving the goal not by one person but by all of us. Above all, the philosophy permeates the company. The Gift philosophy was formulated over a long period of time and through repeated discussions. It is because we created it ourselves, not because it was created by others, that it is embodied and permeated throughout the company. That is why I also thoroughly emphasize the philosophy in the management of my subordinates. In sales, in growth, and in any other situation, there is always a philosophy at the root.
If we can connect to the next generation without wavering from this axis, GIFT can grow even more. I am convinced that overseas expansion and nationwide expansion of Gift can be realized with our philosophy at the core. In order to support the growth of Gift, I will continue to focus on nurturing the people who will lead Gift into the future, while keeping our philosophy in mind.
Gift is a workplace full of challenging and ambitious people.
We invite you to put your experience and skills in the food and beverage industry to good use at Gift.
