I wanted to create more." Reason for changing from a large company to a gift company

After working for a major food manufacturer, I have been a gift factory manager for three years. Although there was indeed a well-developed training system at my previous job, I felt that the clear division of roles that comes with a large company was insufficient. In such a situation, I was attracted to the environment at Gift, where I was entrusted with a wide range of discretion, from the creation of the factory system and the hiring of employees to their training, and I changed jobs.

509 improvement proposals resulted in a "personal" workplace that we are proud of.

The Ayase Plant is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, but what I value most is "people. No matter how excellent the facilities are, a good factory cannot be built without education and a system for the people who work there. With this in mind, I focus on close communication through morning assemblies and meetings, as well as thorough safety and health education.

Particular emphasis is placed on improvement activities in which all employees participate. Last year, we received 509 improvement proposals, ranking first among all plants. What makes me most happy, however, is that each and every one of our staff members feels the joy of "having their opinions put to use," even more than the monetary effect of the improvements. Although factories have the image of being places of monotonous work, in reality they are a series of creative efforts. Our positive attitude of "We protect our own workplace by ourselves" has taken root in the company.

Learning on the ground, changing the whole. The next challenge is to create a system.

In the future, I would like to utilize my experience at the Ayase Plant and be involved in creating a system for the entire manufacturing department. Our goal is to create a factory where everyone who works there can shine. More than just the amount of salary, I want to make people feel "happy to work here. I would like to continue to take on the challenge of creating such a workplace.
