My goal is to become a block manager. At the center of women's activities: Miyu Nakamura, manager of the original Aburado store (joined the company as a new graduate in 2023)
Enthusiasm to be the best in the world and support from colleagues
I will be the best ramen restaurant in the world! These words at the information session made me decide to join Gift. As I was aiming for a career in music, these passionate words stuck with me.
The restaurant business itself was not that hard because I had some part-time work experience. There was a period of time when I had to work consecutive days and felt it was tough. At such times, I was saved by the supportive culture of my colleagues at Gift, such as my supervisor making time off and people from other stores cooperating with me. In the store manager exam as well, I received advice from many of my seniors and was able to pass the exam successfully. I am the fastest among my peers.
Aiming to be the first female block leader
The manager's duties include a wide range of tasks such as cooking, hall, shift preparation, and training, and right now training is one of the challenges. I am working with the feeling of supporting the cast members, just as I was supported by my seniors and superiors. Rather than teaching one way, I am growing together with them as I teach them.
I would like to continue to grow and eventually become a block manager. Gift is not just about making ramen; it is about giving energy and smiles. I would like to become the first female block manager, spreading energy and smiles and becoming someone to be admired.
Gift is a workplace full of challenging and ambitious people.
We invite you to put your experience and skills in the food and beverage industry to good use at Gift.
