I have been involved in the food world since I graduated from a confectionery school at the age of 18 and began my career as a pastry chef. The deciding factor in my decision to change jobs at Gift was the attitude of Executive Director Fujii, who was my interviewer. Mr. Fujii not only talked about my previous job, but also seriously asked me what kind of values I had. When I toured Machida Shoten's store, I was impressed by the way the company's philosophy permeated the actual workplace. I am currently working in the Strategic Sales Department, where I am in charge of new brand development and growth. I am involved in everything related to the launch and growth of new brands, from business concept to product development, costing, manual creation, and hiring.
